What service do you do?
We create emotionally powerful and unique brand identity that express your brand DNA. We do it from brand strategy, story-telling, identity design, creative direction to collateral design such as packaging and website. We keep your message strong and consistent through every touch-points.
What is branding?
Branding is not logical, it is emotional. A visceral feeling you have about a business. A perception. It is never just about the logo or the aesthetic of the design. It is so much more. The way you communicate to your audience, or the way your visuals and products make people feel. A strong brand makes you feel. Hate it or love it, you know there is a cult following. A strong brand is never bland. If a brand is a person, we need to create a soul and then design the appearance that matches the soul.
In Chen Chen, we find out what the soul is, and how your brand exits in the bigger cultural context in the brand strategy phase (understanding stage), then we craft the entire “outfit” for the brand that matches the soul.(Not just the logo!) We designed how your brand “talks” and “act” in the Build stage.
Finally we put everything together and roll out into every single touch points that communicate to your audience in the Go to market stage. Showing off your beautiful baby to the world.
Is brand strategy necessary?
I don’t know, is finding your soul necessary?
If we create a brand without the strategy, we would be designing a brand identify that is superficial, trendy, and based on aesthetics only. It will still be beautiful, but it might be talking to the wrong audience, and it lacks the substance to go far as a business. It can work if your business is meant to be short-termed, trend-based and not super deep. ( Talk to us to find out if you need brand strategy, we are super honest.)
Also brand strategy is not a business strategy, we are only responsible in identifying the soul of the brand, crafting the story and creative direction of the brand. We can’t tell you how to expand and make a million, but we can tell you how to get the right target audience to be super curious about you and how to stand out and be different.

How long does a project take?
If you take on our Next-Level Brand Blueprint stage by stage, it would take 3 -6 months. If you are doing more custom package, the timeline will be shorter. Talk to us to get custom quote and timeline.

How much do you charge?
Our Next-Level Brand Blueprint generally starts from AUD$20K, but it varies in the last stage. (ex. how complicated is your website? how big is your campaign? etc.) Come talk to us for custom quote and timeline. If we are doing a custom package for you it would be around 10K–20K.
Do you offer payment plan?
We do 40% project deposit, 30% payment and 30% final payment with 20K+ projects. For anything less then 20K we do 60% deposit and 40% final payment. We are happy to discuss custom payment plan with you too.
